Hilal Hammad Al-Qassabi is Head of the Water and Soil Pollution Control Section at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs in Oman. He graduated from the College of Science at Sultan Qaboos University, with a BSc. in Physics before working for Halliburton in Oman as a logging geologist. He has worked at the Ministry of Environment and Climate Affairs since 2013, starting in Radiation Protection Department. He is also a member of various committees and teams related to water issues in the Sultanate of Oman.
