A Message from The President

After the thrilling success of our first Produced Water Middle East event in Abu Dhabi in November 2017 where 53 technical papers where presented, we held our second Produced Water Middle East event on 10 - 12 November 2018 at the St Regis Corniche.
The theme of the event this year wass Optimizing Capex and Opex for Efficient Produced Water Management in the GCC. We invited 300 Produced Water professionals for 2 days of technical presentations and networking focused on the latest technologies and best practices to handle the increasing water in the region.
The objectives of the Produced Water Society Middle East Chapter are:
  • To share innovations and technological developments for treating and managing produced water in the GCC.
  • To discuss ideas for troubleshooting, de-bottlenecking, and analysis.
  • To create a unique venue for operators, vendors, regulators and academics to network.
  • To provide educational materials and resources to attendees and inspiration and support for young professionals entering the industry.
  • To act as a catalyst for positive change in the management of produced water in the GCC.
